A multiplayer math game for iPhone

Every answer
builds something.

Augrym is a blocky world where everything you pick up is a math question. Tap a bottle in the park, answer it, hit AUG IT, and it pays.

Spend what you earn in the bazaars, then build a place that is yours, with your friends right beside you.

Made for ages 12 to 15. Nothing to type to strangers. Augies are earned, never bought.

7places to explore and work in
5bazaars full of things to buy
12kinds of math, from sums to functions

How it works

Go somewhere. Pick it up. Build.

There is no tutorial, because there is nothing to explain. Everything satisfying that happens on screen is caused by a sum you got right.

๐ŸŒณ

Go to a place

A park, a farm, a beach, a zoo. Each one has its own jobs, and the Help Wanted signs say what they pay.

๐Ÿงฎ

Answer what you pick up

Every bottle, egg and branch is one question. Tap it, type the answer, and it's yours.

๐Ÿช™

Earn augies

Right answers pay augies, the one currency in Augrym. Finish a job and there's a bonus on top.

๐Ÿก

Build your plot

Shop the bazaars for bricks, lamps, gardens and clothes, then build the one place that's all yours.

The secret

The bigger the number, the harder the sum.

Everything in the world wears what it pays. An easy one pays 1. A hard one pays 40. Nobody tells you which to pick, and nobody needs to.

Players reach for the harder questions because the loot is better, exactly the way they'd head for the scary zone in any other game. That's how practice stops feeling like practice.

  • No placement test, no nagging, no "you're not ready"
  • Easy questions never run out, so nobody is ever stuck
  • Every right answer in a row grows a streak, up to triple pay
The world

Seven places. Five bazaars. One plot that's yours.

Every place has its own jobs, its own things for sale, and rides and shows to spend a ticket on. Tour the places and bazaars โ†’

Better together

Work a job with your Pals. Everyone gets the bonus.

Augrym is full of real players, working the same park, popping their scores over their heads. Tap somebody in the same place to ask them to be Pals, and you can join each other, work a job as a crew, and visit each other's plots.

Everybody on a crew who answers gets the whole bonus, not a share of it, and the job is done sooner. A strong player and a newer one on the same job is a good moment for both of them.

And if nobody's around? Augrym is a complete game on your own, too.

For parents

A game worth a parent's trust.

Your kid will say they're running a farm with their friends. You'll see they did four hundred multiplications this week. More for parents โ†’

๐Ÿ‘›

Augies are never sold

Not in a bundle, not in a starter pack. Everything a player owns was earned by answering.

โœ“

No chat with strangers

No typing at all. A wheel of friendly phrases and emotes, and Pals are made in person.

โธ

No pressure to come back

No daily streak counters and no countdowns to keep up with. A break costs nothing.

โ†—

See where they reach

A one-screen report shows which topics they try and where they're stretching.
