Augrym is played mostly by young people, so we keep as little as the game needs to work, we never sell it, and you can delete it from the app at any time.

Augrym is made by Alpcell [legal entity name and registered address]. Questions about privacy go to privacy@augrym.com.
The app makes a random key on your device. We keep a one-way scrambled copy of it (a hash), the kind of device, and when it was first and last used, so your device can come back to the same player. We also keep the player's:
An account is optional. It lets a player be recovered on a new device.
The push token Apple gives the app, so we can tell you when a Pal invites you. Turning notifications off in iPhone Settings stops them.
Real names, photos, contacts, precise location, voice, free text of any kind, advertising identifiers or payment details. Augrym has no in-app purchases.
[Confirm whether the web servers keep access logs with IP addresses, and for how long. If they do: "Our servers record the internet address of each connection for security, and delete these records after N days."]
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Device key, player and play | To run the game: to give out questions, check answers on our servers, pay augies, and keep your plot and progress. |
| Topic progress | To choose questions at the player's level, and for the report in Settings that the player and their parents can see. |
| Email address | To recover a player on a new device and to send messages about the account. Never for marketing. |
| Year of birth and region | Only to decide whether a grown-up's consent is needed. It is not shown to anybody. |
| Push token | Only to deliver notifications you asked for. |
[Legal bases for players in the EU, UK and Switzerland, e.g. performance of a contract and, for under-age players, parental consent.]
We do not sell, rent or share personal information for advertising. Only the services that keep Augrym running ever handle it:
We would only hand anything over to others if the law required it.
Augrym is made for ages 12 to 15, and younger players use it too. We collect no personal information to start playing. When an account is set up for a player below the age of digital consent where they live, the account belongs to a parent or guardian, who gives their consent and their email address. A parent or guardian can look at the player's report in Settings, ask us what we hold, and delete the account and every player on it at any time.
[Have reviewed against COPPA, UK GDPR and the Age Appropriate Design Code, the EU GDPR and the Swiss FADP.]
We keep a player's information as long as the player exists. To delete everything, open Settings › Account in the app and delete the account. That ends every session on every device and deletes every player on the account, everywhere we store them, straight away. Pieces a player built on somebody else's plot stay there, because they are part of that plot now.
A player with no account can ask us to delete it by writing to privacy@augrym.com from the app's Settings › About [no in-app deletion exists yet for a player without an account; decide the route].
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you or your child, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to privacy@augrym.com. We answer within [30 days]. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Everything between the app and our servers is encrypted. The answer to a question never leaves our servers. Sign-in codes and device keys are stored scrambled, and there are no passwords to steal.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect, we will say so in the app first.
